The Milk
Four life-long friends who went from forming their first band in an Essex school to playing countless working mens’ clubs and finally becoming The Milk. The Milk prove that sometimes it takes a few bumps to find the right direction. Often it involves experience, guts and self-belief to trust yourself and venture from one to find another.
The Milk are a band that believe with utter conviction that they’ve now found their way. Their UK top 40 Debut, Tales from the thames Delta (2012) to their critically acclaimed 2nd album "Favourite Worry" (Wah Wah 45s). Selling out London's, Shepards Bush Empire, Union Chapel to their sell-out UK tour climaxing at London's, KOKO in Camden town this year. BBC 6 Music Album of the year and iTunes Band of Year winners.
Their third studio album Cages was released on the edge of 2020’s cascade of unknowns and it’s taken some time to regroup and decide what the next record would be and how we should move forward.
Music, as it always has been, since the founding members picked up their instruments together for the first time over 2 decades ago now, is again our salvation and our unique brand of cinematic soul was always destined to return better than ever. 2024 marks the year that The Milk return with their unique brand of cinematic soul with their 4th studio album.
The Milk are Rick Nunn (lead vocals, guitar, keys), Mitch Ayling (drums, vocals, keys), Dan Le Gresley (lead guitar, vocals), Luke Ayling (bass guitar).
